Due to the economic situation, I finally chose this 2014 E5 1.5L manual Zhiyue version. It drove 50661 kilometers and was usually used for commuting. It was on the ground roads in the town area, which was not congested, and I drove very little overall. I have other preparations for use after E5.
Real feelings
Appearance:
The appearance of the small E5 was also quite attractive at that time. The headlights were halogen headlights, and the lighting in the dark could only be described as mediocre, unlike now where laser headlights and LED headlights are always present. The key to the front face is a few chrome trim strips, which look quite lively and have a higher sense of hierarchy.
The side car is average and there are not many scenic spots. The doors and windows only have a chrome trim strip below that does not reach the C-pillar, making the overall shape of the C-pillar very strange. Therefore, I added the chrome trim strip on the top myself, which I personally added. The turn signal is in front of the A-pillar, and the halogen display light is not so dazzling or beautiful.

The rear of the car looks quite square with three reverse radars, which are sufficient for daily use. The old Chery logo highlights the age of this car, and the fog lights below are particularly eye-catching, especially when turned on, they light up in the middle of the lower square of the rear.
Space:
The space of the small E5 is still very good. The first row has been adjusted to a comfortable seating position, and the second row is still very spacious. It is basically easy to move around, but the protruding step in the middle is a bit troublesome and the middle position is not suitable. Therefore, it is good to sit for 4 people, but it is a bit crowded to sit for 5 people, and the person sitting in the middle will be uncomfortable.

Function configuration:
The configuration of E5 was considered average at that time, with basic features such as a multifunctional steering wheel, ABS anti lock braking, brake force distribution, front and rear reverse radar, reverse image, satellite navigation, and adjustable headlight height. There were not many configurations in terms of safety, but it was generally acceptable for older drivers. For example, the most commonly used central control screen is the radio, with a frequency modulation of 103.7. Haha, navigation is very troublesome and has not been used for many years. Mobile navigation is more convenient.
Oil consumption:
The fuel consumption of the small E5 is average and decent. The 1.5L engine no longer has much acceleration, but the fuel consumption is still around 7.5 in urban areas. Sometimes there are more traffic lights and traffic jams, and 8.5 is considered normal. Anyway, it's not driven much.
Practical problem
E5 has been a product for many years. If it weren't for plans for other uses, it would have been abandoned long ago. Although it is rarely used, there are still quite a few small problems. Let's mainly talk about a few points.
1. The window regulator on the main frame always has problems and sometimes cannot be lowered. It was replaced a few years ago, but now I don't want to replace it again. Let's just drive it like this.
Both wind noise and tire noise are quite loud, especially at speeds above 80 and on highways, the sounds are a bit loud.
3. The broadcast reception effect is poor, sometimes intermittent. Whenever the signal is slightly off center, noise will come out. I also added an antenna.
The C-pillar is the biggest exterior flaw, it's too ugly.
Vehicle Summary
Although E5 is already a product of the times and I have other cars to drive, after all, E5 is my first car and has other uses, so I still have feelings for it. When I purchased it, I accompanied it all the way. Overall, E5's appearance (except for the C-pillar), space, performance, and maintenance costs are all acceptable, and the cost of using it is relatively low.
